Felt like this one was too good to only put in the stories. I’ve been fascinated by all these informational systems available to bus drivers from the time I started commuting last year. The words “information pylon” always comes to mind as a title possibility. Moody light on the evening ride.

Henry and I went to Saltar’s Point and Chambers Bay today. Despite it being in the low 40°s, Henry insisted on getting his bare feet in the sand. Not sure letting him do it makes me a good parent or a bad parent, but he had fun.

As I flew the drone back to shore, the sea lion popped a flipper up out of the water, almost as if to wave bye (or give me the finger - who knows?). It was kind of windy on the beach, but really windy out over the water; the little Spark was struggling to hold a position. It did pretty well, considering this kind of tech was completely science fiction only a few years ago.

A confluence of cloud, sun, and water made the beach at Saltar’s Point look downright tropical, despite the temperature being in the mid-40’s. Every now and then rain clouds would roll through and dump for a few minutes. It was a nice day to be sitting under the cover of a small shelter built by the WPA back in the day.
